CG Video for VR Training — Pipeline Development x Strivr | Maya + Unreal Engine | AI-Integrated Production

Live action has limits. Some environments can't be accessed, some scenarios are too dangerous to stage, and some content needs to be updated after delivery. Working with Strivr's CG team, I helped develop a new production pipeline to fill that gap — using either fully CG environments or a hybrid of live action backgrounds with CG characters, rendered in Maya and Unreal Engine.

AI voiceover via ElevenLabs and facial motion capture handled character animation and lip sync, while output was designed to integrate directly into Strivr's existing authoring tools — allowing creative decisions to be made without reinventing the learning elements or data collection frameworks built into the platform.

A featured example is an airline crew safety module, where learners navigate a fully CG aircraft cabin to locate emergency oxygen equipment. The pipeline took six months to develop, and ultimately became a commercial product offering for Strivr. The central creative challenge was making CG characters and environments feel credible to enterprise clients with high aesthetic standards — whether fully generated or composited against live action footage.
