Hi, I'm Alex — a director and creative technologist based in Denver, Colorado. I spent my early career studying Marine Science and Geology, which is a roundabout way of saying I came to filmmaking through curiosity rather than design school.

Over the last decade I've directed live-action documentary and commercial content, built immersive VR experiences for Fortune 500 clients, and developed production pipelines that didn't exist before I needed them. That's taken me to some unexpected places — on top of wind turbines, underwater on coral reefs, and deep inside enterprise training programs reaching over a million learners. Along the way I've also designed packaging for aquarium fish, which remains one of my more obscure credentials.

I specialize in immersive media and emerging technology — generative AI, motion capture, AI voiceover, real-time 3D — not because they're trendy, but because they keep opening doors to stories that couldn't be told any other way. I'm at my best when the project is a little complicated, the tools are still being figured out, and the team is small enough that everyone has to wear a few extra hats.
