PepsiCo x Strivr VR Training Experience | 360° Live Action | Interactive

PepsiCo came to Strivr to help new corporate hires — across the United States and India — understand the physical journey of a potato chip, from the soil it's grown in to the shelf it lands on. The result was a three-part immersive training experience set across a working potato farm, a Frito-Lay processing facility, and a retail supermarket with a focus on branding, environment design, and immersive storytelling.

The production spanned two weeks and three locations, each with distinct logistical and creative demands. A coach character guided viewers through each chapter while interactive elements — scene hunts and multiple choice questions — reinforced key learning objectives. The project required close coordination across a half-dozen PepsiCo and Frito-Lay stakeholders, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to arrive at a single, coherent narrative.

My role covered the full production arc: narrative/instructional design, VR interaction design, casting, on-set direction, post-production VFX and branding, and client feedback management. The core challenge was translating the perspectives of farmers, plant operators, and retail specialists into a training experience that was informative without feeling like one.
